My full name is Adrienne Miles Bengtson and I write science fantasy as Adrienne Miles. I picked back up a lifelong interest in writing after retiring from the US Air Force and a 25-year career as a librarian. Instead of slowing down, I published Spider’s Wyrd in 2025. Now I'm at work on a sequel and some short stories set in the same universe.
In addition to reading and writing, I enjoy travel, hiking, fiber arts, and doting on my daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren. I play Celtic traditional music on the penny whistle and keyless flute, and have been known to play the great Highland bagpipes in public. I live near Mesa, Arizona, with my husband, three cats, and a dog.
